The Sumatra Plugins

The Sumatra plugins are designed to help the user quickly create vegetations in Lightwave3d. Currently the package consists of four plugins working in 32 and 64bit, two for layout, and two for modeler. Check out the Gallery for more example images.

 

 

Sumatra Layout

Features:

Clones objects onto the points of a terrain mesh within 10 layers.
Works on subpatched and displaced geometry.
Works on 32bit & 64bit Systems

Sumatra Modeler

Features:

Object variations
Paintmode. If this mode is activated, you can use the painttool for directly painting models on selected polygons of the mesh.

 

Sumatra Paint

Plugin for painting objects on the polygons of a mesh using the selection/options previously defined in Sumatra Modeler.

 

Sumatra Lod

This plugin will replace all objects in Scene with their lodversions and backwarts (if available), regarding to the distance to your choosen camera.

Limitations of the Light Version:
most additional options inactive, painting reduced to 50 polygons.
